There is something wrong with the world today.

Is it just me, or has the news been filled with stories like this lately? Somebody needs to speak up, whether it’s President, prominent religious leaders, maybe a coalition of mayors, I don’t know. But, too many innocent young children are being murdered by the same people who are supposed to protect them, their own parents.  This needs to stop.

Whatever your problem may be, whatever pain or anguish you may be feeling, whatever trouble you are in, whatever voices you are hearing, hurting your children is not the answer.

Update: They got the monster

Bagels are costing alot more these days. Why? Ethanol subsidies, paid for by our taxes, allow for grain, that normally go towards food and animal feed, to go to ethanol distilleries.

From ENS, “U.S. taxpayers, by subsidizing the conversion of grain into ethanol, are in effect financing a rise in their own food prices. It is time to end the subsidy for converting food into fuel and to do it quickly before the deteriorating world food situation spirals out of control. “

All this while in Haiti, they’re literally eating dirt, because food prices have gone up.

I really don’t understand it. We all want to catch the bad guys. And we have no issues using wiretaps and monitoring emails. Just get a freakin warrant so that law enforcement folks and the government don’t abuse the privilege.
