R.I.P The Carrot Peeler Guy

Sad news. Joe Ades, the guy who for years sold vegetable peelers on the streets of New York (mainly in Union Square, but I’ve seen him downtown near Fulton Street) passed away this past weekend. He was 75. More from the NYTimes…
